The Crittenden County Detention Center is a minimum security facility located in Marion, Kentucky. The facility houses both female and male inmates who have been arrested on misdemeanor or felony charges and are awaiting trial. It also houses convicted inmates serving 12 months or less in jail. It also houses some inmates from the Kentucky Department of Corrections. Inmates have access to educational programs and counseling programs. Athena Hayes is the Jailer.

How to Send Mail or Package

Inmates can receive letters from their friends and family while in jail. Any incoming mail will be inspected for contraband. Mail should be addressed to the inmate and must include their ID number. If you do not know the ID number, please contact the jail.

Money can be deposited for an inmate at the kiosk in the jail lobby or online through CarePack. Money can also be deposited through the phone at 866-394-0490.

Visitation Hours

Inmates are allowed two free 20-minute video visits onsite per week. Other visits can be scheduled through Securus for a fee. Onsite visits can be scheduled Tuesday-Saturday, from 9 am to 3 pm. Remote visits can be scheduled Sunday-Saturday from 6 am to 10 pm.
