The Hopkins County Jail is a minimum security facility located in Madisonville, Kentucky. The facility houses both female and male inmates who have been arrested on misdemeanor or felony charges and are awaiting trial. It also houses convicted inmates serving 12 months or less in jail. It also houses some inmates from the Kentucky Department of Corrections. Inmate information can be viewed through an online roster. How to Send Mail or Package

Inmates can receive digital copies of mail from friends and family. Any incoming mail will be inspected for contraband. Mail should be addressed to the inmate and must include their booking number. If you do not know the booking number, please contact the jail.

Visitation Hours

Visitation is done in 30-minute increments, with the schedule depending on the inmate’s security level. Visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.
