Lawrenceburg police officers transport individuals who have been arrested to the Anderson County Jail, also located in Lawrenceburg. The jail is co-ed, and has separate pods for male and female inmates. Including both female and male pods, the facility has a capacity of 700 inmates.

Inmates can visit with their loved ones during their time of incarceration. Everyone who wishes to visit must be on the approved visitors list, have a valid photo ID and must schedule the visitation ahead of time by contacting the jail.
