There is no city jail, and inmates are held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections in Louisville, KY. Visits are done by video, either onsite or remotely. Each inmate is allowed two free weekly onsite visits per week. Remote visits are paid. All visits must be scheduled in advance. Onsite visitation is available daily, from 8 am – 9:50 am, 12 pm – 1:50 pm, and 5 pm – 9:50 pm.
