Harrison County does not operate its own jail and has an agreement with Bourbon County. The Bourbon County Detention Center is a minimum security facility located in Paris, Kentucky. The facility houses both female and male inmates who have been arrested on misdemeanor or felony charges and are awaiting trial. It also houses convicted inmates serving 12 months or less in jail. Inmate information can be seen through the inmate roster. Inmates are allowed to take GED classes during incarceration. The Jail Administrator, Sheila Gant, oversees the facility.

How to Send Mail or Package

Inmates can receive letters and postcards from their friends and family while in jail. Any incoming mail will be inspected for contraband. Mail should be addressed to the inmate and must include their booking number. If you do not know the booking number, please contact the jail.

Money can be deposited into an inmate’s commissary account by using the CorrectPay website. Most jail facilities will also accept a money order, made out to the jail, including the inmate’s name and booking number. You can also make a deposit by contacting CorrectPay at 855-836-3364.

The Bourbon County Detention Center has an online jail roster that lists all current inmates. Inmates can be sorted by first or last name. You can view the charges of the inmate, the booking date, upcoming court dates, and any bond amount.
