Money orders can be dropped off at S.C.D.C. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or mailed in to the inmate. Money orders need “inmate’s first and last name / SCDC” as well as the purchaser’s name and address. The second way is by using the lobby kiosk, or another jail that uses Trinity Swanson Services’ kiosk, to look up the inmate in the facility. The kiosk will take cash or credit cards to deposit money on the account. There are fees associated with each transaction. The third way is using the JailFunds website. Once an account is made, look up “Kentucky” and then look up “Scott County Detention Center”. Then type in the inmate’s name. Use a credit card to place money on an inmate’s account up to $1000.00 per online transaction plus transaction fee.
